Hurricane Relief Trip: Build Temporary Housing in WNC: Nov 6-23
The Kim Winters Team at Movement Mortgage is excited to partner with Cabins4Christ, a project dedicated to building temporary housing for those affected by the devastation of Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina. They are looking for passionate, helping hands to join in this effort and provide support to families who have lost so much.
At Camp Cedarcliff in Asheville, the team will be assembling simple, temporary homes equipped with essential supplies like solar panels, composting toilets, and camp stoves. Each day, volunteers will help construct these units and make a direct impact in the lives of families in need. It’s a chance to come together, roll up our sleeves, and be part of a project filled with hope and purpose.

We need volunteers in the following areas:

- Cooking Volunteers (3 per day): Help prepare meals for volunteers alongside our kitchen team.
Every day starts with a meeting at 9am for breakfast, safety discussions, and a breakdown of the day’s tasks. We'll provide meals for our volunteers three times a day.
