You have an incredible life-changing opportunity to take part in a Movement vision trip in partnership with Greater Calling. This trip will include our Movement school staff and Movement employees. If spots are available family members are welcome to join.
What you’ll do:
- Home visits
- 2 CarePoints … here is a video about what is a CarePoint https://vimeo.com/537013441
- Teachers leading learning forums or workshops
- What is the 15 min training they want to lead
- Create workshop ideas to do together
- Opportunity to observe and learn from teachers in Guatemala.
- How does education and curriculum work in Guatemala
- What area of education are they passionate about and want to train US teacher about
- Interact with children at the CarePoint … these could be educational games or just plain fun

*The cost is $2000 which includes flight cost. This covers all travel, lodging, meals and ministry expense.
**Movement employees will receive a $500 grant. The grant is not available for family members. If this is your first vision trip with Movement you may be eligible for 2 days of PTO. There is also an opportunity to apply for additional scholarship.

Requirements
Prerequisites
- Passport- All team members will need to have a valid passport to travel to Guatemala. If an individual’s passport expires within SIX months of the return date, then he/she needs to plan to renew the passport. Passport information can be found on the US Department of State’s website (https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/passports.html)
Restrictions
- You must be a Movement employee or family member of an employee in order to be eligible for this opportunity.
Preparation
- It is important that you plan to make a visit with your local physician for guidance on medications and vaccinations in relation to your personal health.
